First Look at Fast Eddy Extreme

Saturday was an admin day for Front Row GB at the first British Extreme Championship round organised by Fast Eddy Racing. With the course open to the riders for viewing and signing on taking place, the opportunity was taken to assess the course and get the preliminaries out of the way.

Stan Watt along with Paul O'Connell & Abby took plenty of time to walk the course with temperatures increasing from below freezing to just few degrees above zero. The course has been extremely well put together by the Fast Eddy Team and first impressions suggest it will be a definite test for all abilities.

A marked spectator route allows those watching to move from one area to another but the main attraction will be the final slab rock climb to end the lap, for those ridrs that can make it to the top. Throughout the course there are multiple easy vs hard routes, but the ability to stay calm and find a clear route will surely be the key.

As 8pm Saturday night arrives, temperatures continue to drop below zero with a potential cold start for the 9.30am practice and qualifying start.
